Discover, embody, and reimagine your stories. Over three months, we will move through the intimate terrains of self, desire, and connection to the living world. Each 4-week course stands alone — or join all three to experience the full arc of writing the body, self & earth.
These classes are for writers of all levels. Together, we explore memory, embodiment, and the natural world as material for craft and self-discovery. Classes include two-hour Zoom classes on Thursday evenings, generative writing, selective readings, and manuscript review.
January: Personal Narrative Writing
Turn memory into art. In this 4-week session, you’ll explore your stories, memories, and experiences. Learn to write from voice, reflection, and structure, discovering how truth and story meet on the page.
February: The Body as Story/Writing Sex & Intimacy
Explore desire, pleasure, and vulnerability. This course teaches how to write sensuality with honesty, nuance, and power, transforming sensual experience into evocative prose.
March: Queering Nature Writing/Ecology, Desire & Belonging
Reimagine nature writing through a queer lens—fluid, relational, and wondrous. Write the living world as kin, exploring identity, ecology, and the erotics of land and nature.
Each stands on its own, or join the whole series.
Single course: $150 – 200 sliding scale per 4-week session. Full trilogy: $450 – 500 for all three courses.
